Formation of Personality

The Formation of Personality is another one of Freud’s theories.  The Id is part of the unconscious mind that pursues pleasure and cannot tolerate tension.  The ego is the conscious desire to moderate desires and falls between the id and superego.  The superego is the opposite of the id and comes from moral teachings that a child has been taught.  The superego revolves around morals.
